Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to tidy up messes quickly and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mop I tested had great mapping and navigation. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as wires that were strung up.

They're also easy to use using an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're doing.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum. It is equipped with the latest features. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking interface that includes a mini map of your house and a few buttons on the screen to control the device manually.

Another standout feature of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.

It has a variety of other innovative features as well, including a different dock that connects to your plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller without needing refilling it manually. You can also make use of voice commands using the built-in voice assistant of the S8 using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular control options with your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile options. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with mops, but comes at a cheaper price than many of the competitors.

Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to start, including setting up an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, the robot will start vacuuming and mops effortlessly.

It's worth noting that the mapping process takes a while and may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. In addition the detection of objects can be difficult to determine and it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to flip its back to release itself. However, these aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those looking for an all-in-one cleaning companion.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution.  robot vacuum cleaners uk  mopping feature a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned, not just swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to get into places that a robotic vacuum can't.

This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and other intelligent features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. And the smart app lets you modify a variety of settings, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and put the debris in a self sealing bag. This keeps the system tidy and prevents allergens recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to remove large areas without the need for an additional charge during cleaning.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop model that comes with impressive features at affordable prices. It has powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets and a great obstacle avoidance. It also boasts a unique mopping system, which utilizes a continuous roller filled with water to pick dirt and place it in the dirty water tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. However, it did struggle with fine-grained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise is also relatively high, which suggests it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than others.

Like many robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with a regular schedule. You can control all of its functions via the Eufy app, which provides an easy overview and lots of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums available on the market. It offers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision, and the app lets users fine-tune map coverage, set zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, which lifts the pads up when they're in proximity to soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating the carpet.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free center for maintenance which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of uninterrupted operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins each time they have to be emptied.

6. S10

This robot is a few hundred dollars less than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office clean. It can also reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build a map of your area, so it knows where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop), unlike many vacuums.

It has other great notable features, like the self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach places that other mops don't. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can even avoid mopping rooms that aren't soiled. If you have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities it is a great option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on messy messes that are wet, this robot is a great choice. It comes with a variety of features including self-emptying dustbins and an additional water refill dock, as well as customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can navigate around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's unable to pick up tangled rug tassels up, and its battery drains faster than other models we've tested.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did well. It has a range of cleaning options, ranging from the quiet mode with low power for light debris to the more powerful  Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used in smaller spaces. It is very quick and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces well. It also does a excellent job of pulling pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a good amount of suction power, and it's possible to take a photo of any object it picks up (i.e. chew toys or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they won't be removed during subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot, and it basically drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
